Bold, Articulate & Poised
Media Veteran & Syndicated
Author Rebecca Hagelin is Keynote Speaker for
Woman of the Year 2009 Luncheon
Save the date Saturday, November
7th, for the 2009 Woman of the Year Luncheon at the
Marriott Alpharetta on Windward Parkway.
This is our annual celebration to honor an
Atlanta
woman who has integrity, inspires others, and has made a difference
through her leadership and works of charity.
We invite you to help us
identify and nominate this extraordinary woman by visiting our website.
We are very excited to announce that our keynote speaker for
the event is Rebecca Hagelin, a nationally syndicated author of social
issues and a newly released book,
30 Ways in 30 days to Save
Your Family.
As a working mother of three and specialist on family, culture, and
media issues, Rebecca designed this book for working parents and busy
families. It provides an insightful, practical guidebook with a plan,
realistic goals, actions to take, and a clear path of reconnecting with
our children and restoring peace in the home.
Rebecca has been a pro-family advocate in
Washington
for over 20 years. She believes in being bold in revealing the hard
truth of our disintegrating culture and is a promoter of the virtues of
life. One of Rebecca’s credos:
we send a powerful message of value and justice when we act justly and
humbly. She reminds us that the simple act of sharing and giving to
others will have the greatest impact on changing the mindset of our
despairing, self-centered culture. Rebecca is a poised, articulate
speaker and a veteran of hundreds of radio, television, newspaper, and
magazine interviews, including numerous appearances on CNN, FOX News,
and national networking news programs.
Rebecca is a vice-president of The Heritage Foundation, and her
weekly column “Heart Beat” appears on WorldNetDaily.com and Townhall.com
and is characterized by its exploration of social and cultural issues
through the eyes of a mother. Her first book is entitled
Home Invasion: Protecting Your
Family in a Culture That’s Gone Stark-Raving Mad.
Rebecca and her husband, Andy, live in
Washington, DC, have been married for over twenty years,
and are the parents of three teenagers.
You won’t want to miss this
opportunity to hear Rebecca’s personal testimony and learn how our
society can set the foundation to preserve the principles and values of
every woman in America.
